Derby nights are always special, and Sunday was no different. Sion and Servette faced off at Stade de Tourbillon, offering the spectators a thrilling match. Early on, R. Nivokazi opened the scoring for Sion in the 18th minute, battling through the Geneva defense to find the bottom corner with a precise shot.
Despite the early setback, Servette showed resilience and pushed for an equalizer. In the second half, as the crowd in the South Stand clapped, the big moment came for Servette: a defensive error gifted them the chance to score. In the 68th minute, they finally found the net.
Both teams fought for the win, but despite several opportunities on both sides, it ended 1-1. The draw leaves Sion with mixed feelings, as they performed strongly in the first half but ultimately were relieved to walk away with a point.
